Create your own pressed flower trinket trays using real flowers and leaves, as well as different stamping and carving techniques. Great for gifts and many different uses!
In this class you will learn:
How to cut and prep clay
how to use the slab roller
relevant tools/uses
cutting shapes/patterns
round and squared forms
slipping, scoring and assembly
form holding
proper storage and handling of drying pieces
proper tools and studio clean-up
$35 Each student will be able to create 1-2 pieces depending on size. Pieces will be slow dried and bisque fired (first firing) within 14-20 days. You will be notified when your piece has been fired and you will have one month after notification to come in and glaze your piece at your convenience.
By taking 2 or more clay and/or wheel classes with us, you become eligible to sign up for open studio hours where you can work independently on your own projects. If this interests you, please ask us for more information.
Ticket reservations are required for all classes a minimum of 24 hours before the event. Classes start promptly at listed times and will take the entire time listed. please arrive a few minutes early to get settled. Snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) are permitted.
