At this class we will be painting the yellow "button" flowers pictured above. (Each pattern in this series features the black and white border, leaves using the same two colors and are designed to coordinate well with all other flowers in the series.) When you arrive, you select the pottery piece you'd like to paint. You can select anything from a desert plate on up to the largest platter. Our coordinated flower designs all feature a different modern flower with a black and white border and are intended to work together in a perfectly coordinated mis-matched set. They would make the best collection of serving or desert ware. Our flower of the month projects are all easy to follow in a guided project fashion. We help you transfer the design onto your chosen piece, walk you through mixing glazes, outlining and painting your project, then we fire it in the kiln and it's ready about a week after class. We cannot wait to have you join us!
The details:
A $5 cover charge gets you into the event. We will have a wine deal, light snacks and a lot of fun. At the class, you'll select and pay for a piece of pottery you want to use for your project -- we have something for every budget.
The $5 cover charge reserves your spot in this class -- otherwise we fill on a first-come first-served basis. The evening of the event, you'll choose your project and pattern and will pay for the pottery piece chosen. This is an adult-only class.
